Atheism is the default position when you are born; you have to learn about god(s) and their religions.
Atheism is not really a group. There are some people that make it a group, does not mean it has doctrine. Everyone is an individual.

Wouldn't it be better to be an honest rational Atheist rather than just claiming Atheist?
It’s better to be an honest rational human being, rather than just claiming Atheist.

Atheists can be anything other than a person that believes in a deity or deities.
It's better to be an honest rational human being than claiming a label; atheism will come naturally. Meaning, atheism comes naturally over time after you start thinking rationally.
With that being said, being an Atheist doesn't automatically make a person rational.
Being rational opens a person's eyes to the beauty of the universe.
I don't think true rationality is something that happens naturally. Brains are easily deceived. Critical thinking is needed to be rational.
A person has to dedicate a lot of time & energy to find out what is real and how things actually work in real-life.
A person doesn't need to know everything to be an Atheist. Meaning a person doesn't have to know everything to disbelieve in a god or gods. Atheists just go one god further.
It's hard for a lot of people to take that one step further, so they stay an agnostic theist instead of atheist.
Agnostic - A person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena. A person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.
Gnostic literally means, "one who knows." Every religion has its Gnostics, but Gnostic with a capital G almost always refers to Christian Gnostics.
Atheism is, in the broadest sense, an absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is a rejection of the belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
Atheism is about not having any good reasons to believe a deity or deities that are real outside the mind.
Saying Atheism is a religion is like saying abstinence is a sex position.
For me, Theism is only rational for the people that have mental problems, like they think they would want to do bad things if they don't have a god (in their mind) to punish them.
It is hard to be an honest rational human being for most people. It takes a lot of brain power.

People usually are Atheists because they have no good reason to believe that a deity or deities are real.

It doesn't matter what the fact is or not about god(s) existing. A person doesn't believe in a god or gods so they are an Atheist. Do you understand?

Can we work together to have an awesome understanding of the universe and how it works?

What is the number one thing on how Theists should treat people that don’t care about their fiction?

Is Atheism just about Theism (or the lack there of)?
If you don't know something, does that mean you believe it?

Atheism has nothing to do with science!

What do you think the A stands for in Atheism?

Atheism is not Anti-theism, so stop pestering people that don’t believe that your fiction is real.
Atheism is not Anti-theism, so believers need to stop pestering people that don’t believe that their fiction is real.

Atheism=Not caring about gods
Asportism or Asportteamism=Not caring about sport teams and/or sports

Stay curious!
